Weather varies quite a bit in the beautiful Black Hills. More often than not, the week is sunny and warm with temperatures in the 70s, but we have had days in the past where it has rained a bit and we even had snowfall one year...haha! We list a few things here to be sure not to forget but this may not be a complete list...
*clothes
*warm jacket or sweatshirt for evenings
*shoes (and perhaps slippers for your cabin at night)
*toiletries (including bug spray)
*towels
*bedding (sleeping bag or twin-size sheets & blanket)
*pillow
*Bible & notebook
*medical release forms for all campers under age 18 who’s parent will not be there during camp
*bathing suit (optional)
umbrella (optional)
*bottled water (optional)
*calling card (optional if you need to make any phone calls while you’re at camp- there is limited cell phone coverage but calling cards can be used on the camp’s pay phones)
*camera
*money for book table, love offering, to purchase the professionally recorded talks, and/or nearby tourist attractions during free time
***Please do NOT bring mp3 players, cd players, or other electronic devices that distract you and others from this “week apart”***
Directions to Camp:
Flying? Rapid City Airport is the closest major airport to camp. It is aproximately 1/2 and hour from camp and arrangements can be made for airport pickup if necessary.
